The general principle is incredibly simple, you press the bottom half of the burger down which creates a dip in which you add your fillings, and then press the top of the burger on sealing it all together nicely. A short blast in the oven later, you’ve got yourself a burger stuffed with magic! I decided to make a pizza stuffed burger because…why not! Melted cheese, tasty cherry tomatoes and fresh basil were all I needed, but I could have easily added bacon, ham, salami or any number of other pizza toppings! If you read my blog at all you’ll know I’m a big fan of pizza, and working out ways to enjoy it on Slimming World (see my Syn Free HexB Pizza, or Syn Free Meatzza!) and this is yet another way to enjoy the flavours of pizza without the syns!

One thing to note with the Stuffz Burger Press is that it makes absolutely humongous burgers! I mean they’re basically meat pies for heavens sake…I’m not complaining, I’m just advising you to be hungry when you dig in! These went down incredibly well in my house, and everyone loved them. I simply accompanied my massive pizza stuffed burger with chips and sweetcorn (no speed police here please, I always have a third veg even if it’s not speed!) and it was just so tasty! Because of the fillings, and the fact that you don’t have to cook them for very long at all, the mince stays so moist, so the whole dish just melts in the mouth. What’s more, you don’t need a huge amount of flavourings to pack a really great taste into each individual part of the recipe!
