Why You Should Shop Online With Iceland Foods

I’m of the opinion that everyone shops a little differently. I for instance like to get the bulk of my shopping for the week in one hit and then supplement as the week goes by, but no matter how you shop there’s no ignoring the fact that online shopping is bigger and better than ever right now! More people are shopping for their groceries online than ever, according to research by Mintel, and Iceland Foods has answered the call for a fantastic online shopping experience better than any supermarket out there right now!

Why Shop Online At Iceland

If you’re still of the opinion that Iceland Foods are just a place to buy frozen pizzas, fish fingers and party food, then it might surprise you to know that they’ve been named as Online Supermarket Of The Year for a number of years running! If that shocks you, then you’ll be even more pleasantly surprised to know that you can do an ENTIRE weekly shop online at Iceland for just £35, which will also earn you free delivery on your order! If you’re a Slimming World-er like me then this is even better because you can stock up on their delicious range of Slimming World meals too, perfect for keeping you on plan when you don’t want to cook!

Iceland Isn’t Just Frozen!

Iceland still continues to the best possible place for frozen, but it’s evolved somewhat since their Peter Andre and Kerry Katona days! Whilst you can still pick up all of your frozen essentials – your veg, pizzas, chips etc… – you’ll also find incredible selections of luxury meat, fish, herbs, pies and decedent desserts! What’s more, Iceland is about so much more than frozen food nowadays! When shopping online, or in store, you can pick up a huge range of chilled and fresh products, including veg, cheese, fruit, salad and so much more, as well as your store cupboard essentials and even your toiletries!

Online Shopping Experience With Iceland

Iceland have a fantastic website, which makes online shopping with them so much better! It is easy to navigate, full to the brim with recipe ideas and seasonal offers, very easy to sign up to and totally comprehensive. I love how the website is set up, with easy to navigate categories which showcase exactly how much is on offer at the store.

If you’re on the go and need to order your groceries in a rush then the Iceland website is also totally optimised for mobile, so you can log on and do your shopping anywhere you want! In an age where we’re more busy than ever, easy online shopping is a must, and Iceland has really hit the nail on the head with their site. I registered for an account with no problem at all (once I had stopped trying to add my Mastercard as a Visa that is…!) and I was ready to get my order sorted in no time at all!

A Full Weekly Shop for £35

In order for me to really test out the idea that you can get your entire weekly shop for just £35 at Iceland, I was given a shopping list to try. As you can see from the variety of products included, this really does cover all the bases for what you might need in a week. Of course if you have a slightly larger family, with more children for example, then you’ll need to expand the list somewhat, but as a general rule this list will do nicely! It certainly does for me, with a fantastic variety of healthy fruit, veg and meat, and the products that are eaten by the rest of the household (white bread and custard creams for example!).

One of the other fantastic things about shopping online with Iceland is that they have a minimum order of £25, which is much lower than many other supermarkets out there! I’ve done online shopping with many different retailers in the past and the minimum tends to be around £40, so Iceland is perfect if you’re trying to save money or have a smaller shop to do! There is free delivery on orders over £35 and if you prefer to pick your shop up, Iceland also do Click & Collect! Another amazing innovation that you might not yet be aware of if you don’t shop in store, is that you can do your in store shop and then organise for it to be delivered, saving exhausted arms slugging it all from the car to your door! There are so many ways to shop online and in store with Iceland, and so many reasons you’d want to, so if you haven’t given it a go yet I’d really recommend that you do!

I've heard such good things about this supermarket - alas, there is none on my remote North Sea island! £35 for a weekly shop is a bargain!

HI Teresa, I'm sure that Iceland will be very concerned to hear that! I know that I've shopped online with them many times without problems, so it is such a shame that you've experienced this on this occasion!
