Ingredients

  • Potatoes (as many as needed)
  • Fry Light Spray
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika

Instructions

  1. Spray a large baking tray with Fry Light spray.
  2. Cut the end off a potato and then use a vegetable peeler to slice thin potato pieces onto your baking tray. Don't expect these to be perfectly oval, some will break, some will be thinner in the middle, some will only be half crisp...but we're going for an artisan feel here!
  3. Spray the potato with fry light, and then sprinkle with salt, pepper and a light dusting of paprika powder.
  4. Bake for 5 minutes or until they're dried out and crispy. Taste test (when cooled) and then season further as desired.
  5. Enjoy with friends or as a snack by yourself whenever you like, totally guilt free!

Notes

You can of course season these however you fancy, I'm just personally a big fan of paprika! Slimming World Syn Value = Free

What temperature should the oven be?

Hi Rob, sorry I've not put that on there! I have it quite low when I make these, to dry them out rather than burn them. Try it on 140 :) Keep an eye on them though, as different people's ovens seem to work differently, and because they're so thin they can turn quite quickly! Very much worth it though, they're so tasty!

How long do these keep for? Or are the best eaten on the day?

They are best eaten on the day but could be kept for a couple of days in an air tight bag!

Just been told by my sw consultant that these are classed as a tweak & therefore have as many syns as standard crisps.
